From May 19 to 30, 2008, Germany hosted the 9th Conference of the Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD-COP9). Around 5,000 delegates from all over the world met in Bonn to discuss steps that can be taken to conserve biodiversity. Before and during the conference the International Youth Forum Go4BioDiv provided selected young adults with a political platform for issues concerning them.
