Profile of Lutz, Annegret

  • Name: Lutz, Annegret
  • Nationality: Germany
  • Country of Residence: Germany
  • Town: Braunschweig
  • E-Mail: not public
  • Profession: student
  • Educational Background:
After I finished school near Heidelberg I went in the north of Germany to study Geo-Ecology.I think I'll finish the Bachelor this summer.
  • Where I live and how I view my environment:
I live know nearly three years in the north of Germany and here the environment is different then in the south of Germany. The surrounding of Braunschweig is very flat so that the wind can blow harder. Braunschweig it self has some nice parks and you can go to the mountains Harz where you have forests. Most forests here are still monocultures, because of the early cultivation of spruce.
  • Biodiversity means to me personally:
That is still diversity, not just for example, a type of maize. Biodiversity is to find always something, which is similar but at the same time differenced, as each person is different. Without the biodiversity of the earth, it would no longer be so exciting.
  • My Symbol of biodiversity:
I would take a mouse, because the little animal is known allover the earth. She conforms herself to the environment. This species shows a lot of variety /biodiversity.
  • My motivation for participating:
I will be pleased to meet the participants from all over the world and to hear different views and arguments about the topic biodiversity. Through this way we can all learn more about biodiversity and perhaps find a way to cultivate biodiversity.
  • How did I show I am ready to "Go 4 BioDiv":
    No answer
  • My message to other participants:
I enjoy getting to know you all and have interesting discussion.
