I study the fifth year of the Forestry master study program at the Faculty of forestry and Wood Science, Czech University of Life Sciences. In my master theses I´m dealing with growing dynamics of spruce montane forests
- Where I live and how I view my environment:
I live in Cesky Krumlov which is located near the Sumava national park (Bohemien forest national park) and Trebonsko protected area. In Sumava national park, there are many kinds of protected ares - from the valuable peat bogs, mixed forests up to montane spruce forests. On the other hand in the Protected area of Trebonsko you can find a unique water societies. Natural protected areas in south Bohemia, where they both are situated are from the nature protection point of view one of the most valuable areas in the Czech Republic
- Biodiversity means to me personally:
Locally natural diversity of species. Besides that, valuable guarantee of stability
- My Symbol of biodiversity:
a trunk of a death three vegetated by fungus
- My motivation for participating:
to enlarge my professional knowledges about biodiversity and to meet similarly thinking people
- How did I show I am ready to "Go 4 BioDiv":
Up to the present days I haven´t been actively involved in conserving biodiversity.
