Official Opening of the International Youth Summit 2008: “Go 4 BioDiv” – 27 May 2008

The Official Opening was moderated by Youth Summit participants Birgit Heraeus and Jan Andrew Zubiri.

Guest speakers included Bärbel Dieckmann, Mayor of Bonn, Dr Ahmed Djoghlaf, Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), Dr Manfred Konukiewitz, Commissioner for Climate Policy and Head of the Global and Sectoral Policies Directorate at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Gérald Tremblay, Mayor of Montreal.
