Educational Background: I'm now a second-year student major in Forest Resources Conservation & Recreation.
Where I live and how I view my environment: I live in Chengdu,the capital city of Sichuan province.Refering to my city,Chengdu is just like other big ones:fancy buildings,busy streets,artifical parks.But thanks to the subtropical monsoon climate and the unique geographic characters,Sichuan is abundant in natural resources.A lot of amazing places are accessible from Chengdu like: Jiuzhaigou,mountain EMei,well-known as the world natural heritages,WoLong nature reserve,which was set up to protect the treasurable giant panda.
Though the conflicts between economical development and environmental protection exist,people here are trying to do better to find a balance.So I'm still optimistic about the future.
Biodiversity means to me personally: Biodiversity is the basic source of the earth’s continuance and development, it is the foundation of all the things.It is the every possibility to what’s gonna happen and what has happened. Whatever we have, we found, we felt are the results of biodiversity.I think somehow it functions as a kaleidoscope, refracting and breeding all lives in this wonderful and beloved world.
My Symbol of biodiversity: A rainbow.

Rainbow is related to the water,the sun,and it occurs in the earth.
Vivid colors are easy to accept by all-the-age.
Rainbow stands for nice,good,hopeful things to most people.]
My motivation for participating: I want to meet young people who has the same concern about our world and share the views,make friends.This is a chance to experience different way of living and thinking.
How did I show I am ready to "Go 4 BioDiv": I major in Forest Resources Conservation & Recreation,and I take some volunteer work in related fields.
But it is far to say"I'm ready".
My message to other participants: I'm exciting and looking forward to meeting you guys in may.
