  • Where I live and how I view my environment:
    I live in Antananarivo, the Madagascar's capital. even if it is a big town, we can find there a beautifull and attractive zoologic and botanic park which contain most of endemic fauna and flora species in MAdagascar. also, in the open town,there are a famous place which is an nich for Malagasy and migrator birds and which is include to the RAMSAR sites. Madagascar is a beautiful and very country, especially very rich in exveptionnal ecosystem which contain various endemic species.
  • Biodiversity means to me personally:
    biodiversity represent the earth. not only, species diversity, genetical diversiy, and ecosystem diversity mke differences between countries and region, but also the existance of their differences ensure certain stability in the earth: climate stability, ecological stability, also serial stability. biodiversity must be protected and be sustainable because all species and all form of life have the right to live.

  • My motivation for participating:
    I think that the youth summit could give me the opportunity to understand other young people point of view about the Biodiversity conservation and the relation that they have with their natural resource. It is also the occasion to exchange experiences and to find new idea of conservation appropriate for Madagascar’s conditions. And I think that workshops result will facilitate us to help and to influence political decision-makers to the conservation of biodiversity.
  • How did I show I am ready to "Go 4 BioDiv":
    I have already contributed in many biodiversity conservation activities.In 2006, I finished my 5 years in agronomy university and since 2004 I have been specialized in forestry in this university. I did training in an Eastern littoral forest of Madagascar to evaluate manager conservations activities. This is an evergreen humid and littoral forest on sand which was very affected by woodman few years ago. My responsibilities consisted to evaluate the preceding tree plant campaign made in the forest and to give solution and proposition to ameliorate technical activities. And last year, I obtained a grants by “Conservation International” to make research about 3 threatened and endemic trees in one another littoral forest.

    diversity is our streigth!!
