  • Where I live and how I view my environment:
    I live in Antananarivo in the capital of Madagascar. In my immediate environment,green space desappear to promote urban development. but we can find some beautifull and attractive botanic and zoologic park in which we can find some endemics species of Madagascar. Madagascar is an heaven of biodiversity and culture. you can find here some species that you can't whatch in another place in the world. biodiversity have a big importance in our culture.
  • Biodiversity means to me personally:
    Biodiversity is a criterion which measures the differences between all individual in ecosystem. It is not only biological but also cultural. biodiversity offers us a diversity of product as food, drugs, handicraft,... it help us to prevent climate change and to decrease pollution. "BIODIVERSITY IS OUR FUTURE"

  • My motivation for participating:
    I would like to share my experiences with participants since we all come from different countries. It would be interesting to discuss the ways that have been developed to address not only environmental but also social endeavors in the countries represented. As we will be visiting a park, I would like to see its characteristics, how it is administered and the history of its founding. Also, I am very interested in learning the realities of other countries.
  • How did I show I am ready to "Go 4 BioDiv":
    I am a student in the Agronomical high school of University of Antananarivo. We already do some field work in my country so I known our biodiversity very well. I already do some trainy about conservation and preservation of biodiversity.I was invited to participate in Go 4 Biodiv by the Program of sustainable management of natural ressources of GTZ in my country, which is actively involved in conservation through sustainable economic models .
  • My message to other participants:
    We represent different country in the world. so, can we exchange ideas and seek means to address issues together and return to our home countries better equipped to conserve biodiversity?
