The venue at Mt Fuji

Go4BioDiv’s venue, Fuji-san roku no mura, is located within the boundaries of the Mt. Fuji National Park, just south of the majestic peak in the forested foothills of Shizuoka prefecture facing the pacific ocean. Within this beautiful forest, different types of individually designed wooden houses will provide accommodation for the participants.

To enhance the intercultural exchange and a better understanding of Japanese values and traditions, everyone will be living in Japanese style rooms with Tatamis, sliding doors and Futons. The facilities also include two spacious meeting rooms and a gym for our dance project.
